Megan Gordon is currently a Graduate Assistant at the University of Georgia, where she is pursuing her Master’s of Social Work. During her undergraduate at the University of Kansas, she served as a Diversity Fellow, where she assisted with research, advocacy, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and program creation to advance DEIB initiatives for diverse and minority students throughout the School of Music and the larger university system. She has previously volunteered with various music organizations and nonprofits, including serving on an advisory council to advocate for mental wellness and diversity initiatives and assisting with fundraising and conference management. Megan’s experiences and interests span across the fields of social work, the arts, disability studies, and beyond, which she will continue to pursue through cross-disciplinary work during her studies and career.
