Eunmi Hwang

Research Assistant
Eunmi Hwang is a second-year Master of Social Work student at the University of Georgia. She holds undergraduate degrees in Counseling Psychology and Social Work from Korea. Her academic and research interests focus on trauma-informed interventions, family therapy, and the mental health of refugee and immigrant populations, with particular attention to North Korean refugees. She is also a co-author of a scoping review on preventive healthcare access among immigrants in rural America, published in the International Journal for Equity in Health (2025).
