CenHTRO effectively combats human trafficking through evidence-informed and data-driven programs that are community-engaged, rigorously evaluated, and transformative. We build strong networks of anti-trafficking actors—from governments to grassroots organizations to individuals—that are empowered with tools and resources to stop exploitation at its roots.

Our work begins with the collection of baseline data to identify target populations in specific locations that are experiencing human trafficking. Working with local agencies and NGOs, and in partnership with a cross-section of government agencies and community organizations, we develop evidence-informed interventions that focus on protecting survivors, preventing trafficking, and prosecuting traffickers. Our collaborative model builds systems that are capable of fighting exploitation long after our projects close.

The opposite of a one-size-fits-all approach, our work is tailored, precise, and effective.
